In this article I am going to tell you everything about how to use ginger to solve your various hair problems easily.
Note: Following Ginger remedies are strong, oily and cannot go easily, so you can use lemon juice or vinegar or mild/herbal shampoo to rinse it off properly.
1. Ginger blended oil
Ginger blended oil is very effective in baldness and hair regrowth. To prepare ginger oil, we need any oil such as coconut oil, olive oil, amla oil and almond oil. But we recommend coconut oil because it has thick consistency and doesn’t evaporate easily while boiling.
Ingredients
- Organic Coconut oil - 250ml
- Grated ginger - 50 grams
Preparations
Mix coconut oil and grated ginger in an iron wok/kadhai and boil this mixture on slow flame until ginger turns light brown, it will take around 10-15 minutes or more. Let the mixture comes to normal room temperature. When it cools down, store it in dry glass bottle or any glass container without straining it.
Application
Apply enough amount of this ginger oil to your scalp and hair, and massage your scalp, hair for 5-10 minutes. Do this before going to bed and leave it overnight. Rinse it off with lukewarm water (you can use mild or herbal shampoo to wash it) Repeat this remedy 3 times a week to stop hair loss, remove dandruff and hair re-growth.
2. Ginger Onion paste
Combination of ginger with onion nourishes and strengthens hair and makes them thick and strong.
Ingredients
- Coconut oil – 5-6 tablespoon
- Grated ginger - 1 tablespoon
- Onion paste – 1 tablespoon
Directions
Heat grated ginger and onion paste in coconut oil until the ingredients turns brown. Apply this warm mixture on scalp and hair, and massage for 5-10 minutes. Leave this application overnight or wash it off after 40-90 minutes with normal or lukewarm water. Follow this remedy 3 times a week for best result.
3. Ginger with Lemon, Sesame oil
Combination of antimicrobial property from ginger and collagen boosting property present in lemon helps restore the pH level of the scalp and promotes hair growth.
Ingredients
- Grated Ginger – 2 tablespoon
- Sesame Oil - 3 tablespoon
- Fresh Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
Direction
- Heat grated ginger in sesame oil until it turns light brown.
- Apply this warm mixture to your scalp and hair and massage for few minutes.
- Leave this application for 1 hour or overnight.
- Wash it off with lukewarm water using mild shampoo.
- Repeat this twice a week.
4. Ginger with Carrier oil
Ginger with carrier oil works effectively treating baldness and other hair problems. This combination has conditioning properties which nourishes and strengthens your hair, and makes them thick and strong.
Ingredients
- Carrier oil or jojoba oil – 2 tablespoon
- Grated ginger - 1 tablespoon
Directions
Mix Carrier oil with grated ginger and heat this mixture on slow flame until ginger turns light brown. Apply this warm mixture to your scalp and hair, and massage your scalp, hair for 5-10 minutes. Leave it for 1 hour or overnight. Wash it off with lukewarm water using very mild shampoo. Follow this remedy twice a week to stop hair loss, remove dandruff and hair re-growth.
